     Dry Whey - Western U.S.

     Report 32 - Released on August 06, 2020

F.O.B. prices for western dry whey have declined this week after bouncing up last week. They
are trending down at the top of the range and at the bottom of the mostly series. This is
partly because dry whey supplies outweigh current orders. With rising market uncertainties,
buyers are cautious when making purchase decisions. Dry whey inventories are steady and
available to meet all buying requests. Production is active and mainly unchanged from a week
ago. The DMN monthly average of the mostly price series for West dry whey during July was
$.3495 compared to $.3517 one month ago and $.3436 a year ago.
